About Nic Fit – School Movement Programs
Empowering Students Through Health and Movement

Our Philosophy
Nic Fit – School Movement Programs is grounded in the belief that movement, nutrition and regulation are essential foundations for learning — not optional extras.
As a qualified Health and Physical Education teacher, I have worked with students across Queensland and Victoria and have seen firsthand how modern schooling places increasing demands on children’s ability to sit still, focus and regulate their behaviour. This has been further highlighted through periods of extended lockdowns, where reduced movement had a noticeable impact on students’ physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
Nic Fit programs are designed to support all students, while providing targeted support for those who need additional movement and regulation to succeed in the classroom. By integrating structured movement, practical nutrition education and regulation strategies into the school day, students are better able to settle, concentrate and engage in learning.
My approach is holistic and practical, working alongside teachers and school leadership to support students in a way that fits within the realities of school life. The goal is simple: to help students feel stronger, calmer and more confident — so teachers can teach and students can learn.

Student Wellbeing and Safety
At Nic Fit – School Movement Programs, student wellbeing and safety are central to every program delivered.
All activities are planned and delivered by a qualified Health and Physical Education teacher, with a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, regulation and inclusive practice. Programs are structured, supervised and adapted to suit the age, ability and individual needs of students.
Nic Fit prioritises:
-
Safe, developmentally appropriate movement
-
Clear routines and expectations
-
Small-group or modified activities where required
-
Supportive environments that reduce overwhelm and anxiety
-
Positive behaviour support through movement and regulation
Programs are designed to complement existing school policies and procedures, working in collaboration with school leadership and staff to ensure consistency, safety and best practice at all times.
The focus is on creating environments where students feel safe, supported and confident to participate, move and learn.
